Tools I use
I'm editing in virtually every modern (and not) NLE software, including:
- Avid Media Composer
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Apple Final Cut Pro
- Lightworks
- Grass Valley Edius
For some obscure reason, I never worked in Sony Vegas. Dunno why.
Oh, and somehow I never edited in CapCut either!
Other tools I use
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe After Effects
- Apple Motion
- Apple Compressor
- Assimilate Scratch
- Autodesk Smoke*
- Apple Final Cut Pro 7*
* jk, don't really use those anymore, just kept it installed from good ol' times.
Education
Hobbies
Being a film buff, I prefer to have all my favorite films on physical media.
I have a vast collection of DVDs, Blu-rays and even
LaserDiscs
(no shit!), over 2,000 titles so far
(2,201 to be precise).
And yeah, it takes a lot of space in my home,
but it's totally worth it. No, it's not hoarding.
A little bit of statistics here. In 2024 I watched 400 films
and 135 TV shows. In 2023 it was 221 film and 69 TV shows. Yup, I'm writing down everything.
I'm a huge fan of mechanical keyboards. IBM Model M keyboard
is my absolute favorite. There's nothing like typing on mechanical keys,
nothing compares to that. Oh, and also Leopold keyboards with
electro-capacitive Topre switches are not too shabby either (and much pricey too).
In my spare time I learn programming languages,
just for the fun of it. So far I've learned PHP (fluent, this site is written in it),
JavaScript, Python, C (of course!), Swift, and some obscure oldies like
Object Pascal / Delphi, awk and Objective-C.
I wrote a bunch of command-line tools that I use in my everyday practice.
